You can build muscle fast if you are following a set plan and follow a program with as much attention to detail as you can. Too many people start a training program with the intention of getting big and strong but fail to follow the necessary steps to build muscle fast. You must set goals and stick to these goals. If you don’t have a direction the only thing that is guaranteed is that you will wind up somewhere.

So first start out by writing down some goals and picture where you want to see yourself in one year. After you have written your goals you can then put a plan into action. With that done we can move on to some ways to help you reach your goals.

To build muscle fast there are several things, which have to occur.
The proper type and amount of exercises based on your goals.
The proper amount of rest.
The proper diet.
The proper motivation.

To build muscle fast you must use exercises, which will continually shock your muscles into new growth patterns. Our muscles adapt to any stress placed on them. If you only do barbell presses for your chest you will notice that your chest will reach a plateau and not respond with gains in muscle mass. You need to mix up your routine continually in the correct way to force your body to grow.

To build muscle fast you need the proper amount of rest. This not only includes getting between seven and eight hours of sleep a night but also includes increasing the amount of time in between workouts for the same body part. Your muscles don’t grow when you are lifting; they grow when you are resting. If you continue to workout your individual body parts more than once a week you will continue to not gain new muscle mass.

To build muscle fast you need to eat a proper diet. As you break down the muscle fiber you must provide it with the necessary nutrients to accelerate your muscle growth. You need the right amount of protein, carbohydrates and fats at the right time and in the right amounts in order to grow. This is best taken care of by eating five to six smaller meals a day.

To build muscle fast you must be properly motivated. The motivation that works best for me is when I look in the mirror. As I see the positive changes in my physique and hear the compliments I’m getting from family and friends it gives me a renewed vigor and determination to get to the gym. Figure out a way to motivate yourself and get to the gym and workout.
